The Universal Panel Meter (UPM) series combines over 40 years of experience with the latest ASIC uC and ultra-efficient multicolor alphanumeric LED technology to bring you into the 21st century. The UPM external power series features over 30 signal conditioners which are installed via plug-in for ease of interchange in the field. The UPM offers Form, Fit and Function replacement for any analog or digital panel meter. If not, we'll make it!
The UPM-R is a customized meter specifically designed to replace obsolete radiation panel meters by G.E. & G.A. The UPM-R can display instantaneous and accumulated (log & anti-log functions) radiation data received via TTY (teletype 20mA current loop). The UPM-R is a single channel model that offers 8 alphanumeric characters, 0.4" high, unicolor red. Serial I/O options include USB/RS485 and 20mA C.L. (TTY). This model also includes other features of the UPM Series, such as Otek's patented INPT Fail Alarm with Run Time Stamp, math functions, self diagnostics and over 30 isolated input signals. This model does not offer controlling I/O outputs.
The Powerless™ input signals include A. C. V/A/W/Hz and CURRENT LOOP and it uses the patented Powerless™ new technology of our NTM Series bar-digital meters/controllers. As a Counter-Timer-Clock-Frequency monitor, the UPM-R offers over 32 functions that are selectable via serial commands. The case size is 4.875" x 1.5" x 4" and it fits into a 0.825" H x 4.10" W panel cutout.

As with all our products, the UPM comes with a Lifetime Warranty (limited) and has a CMTBF (Calulated Mean Time Between Failure) of 40 years!
