Otek offers a variety of digital bargraph meters in both switchboard and edgewise styles, LED or LCD displays.  Many of the bargraph indicators feature single color or automatic tri-color bars.  LCD bargraph meters offer an optional automatic tri-color backlight.

The LED switchboard meters and edgewise meters provide a bright digital and bar display for excellent view-ability/visibility of virtually unlimited process parameters, including DC Volts, current, temperature, RMS amps, etc., in practically any application.  The state-of-the-art automatic color changing and programmable bargraph indicators provide a high HMI factor; the digital bars and displays offer higher accuracy than most analog instruments.

Single, dual or triple display models are available in different sizes (including 1/8 DIN), externally or loop powered, with or without digital display.  Select bargraph meters are also nuclear qualified.

The HI-Q 119 is part of Otek’s line of versatile programmable process controllers that are extremely adaptable and can be customized or programmed uniquely to a variety of process control systems and applications. This model was designed to replace the old analog technology of electromechanical edgewise bar graph panel meters. The HI-Q 119 is highly programmable and is available in single or dual, with vertical and horizontal (single only) configuration. It is capable of displaying a large number of variables and scales, including watts, volts, amps, RPM, percent or any sensor output. Up to two displays are 4 digit LED displays that complement the bar graphs by adding precision and ease of interaction. Up to two bar graph displays are 51-segment LED arrays that allow for range based control of the color displayed. The automatic tri color bar changes color upon exceeding programmable limits, the standard settings are red for low (or high), yellow for caution, and green for normal range, which complies with HMI and NUREG 0800. Standard colors include red, green, and amber with more available for special orders. All displays can be configured with programmable limits and allows for dimming, blinking, and pointing. Input linearization including polynomials, X-Y tables (TC & RTD), flow calculations, and a variety of other mathematical functions make this digital panel meter an ideal tool for process monitoring and automation. The HI-Q 119 is unique as it can also be used a remote display, or a slave display, for PLC, DCS, SCADA, or Stand Alone and Compliance Output making this digital panel meter ideal for any process control need. This LED bar graph display is available with 1, 2 or 3 analog inputs, and isolated analog outputs 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 5 V DC, with a DB-9 connector for the serial connection option and is compatible with USB 2.0 via a converter (USB Tranceiver). RFI/EMI shielding is available for this product.

Otek’s HI-Q 121 is a bar graph meter that was created as a byproduct of two of our most popular units the HI-Q 119 and the HI-Q 120. Using the hardware from the HI-Q 119 and altering the casing from the HI-Q 120, we are able to present a slimmer meter that maintains its Seismic, EMI, RFI, and SV&V qualifications. This bar graph was particularly designed to make the switch from the old analog technology to new technology as seamless and cost efficient as possible.

The HI-Q123 replaces old analog circular meters by using a circular LCD bar graph instead of the traditional metal needle. The meter has 101 bars (1% resolution) on its LCD display. Similar to the rest of Otek’s HI-Q series, this meter allows for range based control of the display, is capable of supporting programmable limits and has settings for dimming, blinking, and pointing. Standard colors include red, green, and amber with others available upon request. The circular bar graph surrounds a 5-digit LED display for added precision and ease of interaction. The HI-Q 123 is highly programmable and capable of displaying a large number of variables and scales, including watts, volts, amps, RPM, percent, or any sensor output such as a 4 to 20 mA output. This circular instrument has four displays, allowing it to display a large number of variables and scales, including watts, volts, amps, RPM, percent, or any sensor output such as a 4 to 20 mA output. The backlight for the displays will automatically change color based on user set limits. Standard colors include red, green, and amber, with more available upon request. One display is a circular 51- segment LED array with 2% resolution. The other three displays are two 3-digit displays and one 7-digit display; all capable of displaying ASCII standard characters. Input linearization including polynomials, X-Y tables (TC & RTD), flow calculations, and a variety of other mathematical functions make this digital meter an ideal tool for process monitoring and automation. The HI-Q 127 is available with 3 A/D inputs (18 bit) with >30 signal conditioners, and 16 bit DAC outputs, up to four 10 A relays or up to eight open collector transistors are available as well as isolated 28 V DC out for transmitter. This digital switchboard display is also fitted with RS232, 485, 422 or USB I/O connections for interaction with DCS, SCADA, or stand alone process control systems and computers.

The HI-Q2000/2k is part of Otek’s line of versatile programmable process controllers that can be customized or programmed uniquely to a variety of process control systems and applications. This model was designed to replace old analog technology of electromechanical edgewise bar graph panel meters. It is a form-and-fit replacement for the internals of Versatile’s VMI2000 indicator with the ability to simply “plug and play” when used as an open-frame unit and inserted into the old existing housing.

It is capable of displaying a large number of variables and scales, including watts, volts, amps, RPM, percent or any sensor output. Up to two displays are 4 digit LED displays that complement the bar graphs by adding precision and ease of interaction.
