Otek offers a large selection of Edgewise Digital Bargraph Panel Meters that come in many industry standard sizes.  All offer a 51 segment bargraph and 4 or more digits to accurately display your process variable(s). 

As well as being displays, many bargraphs offer serial I/O, Relay and DAC outputs as well as signal conditioning networks to accept a variety of inputs such as current, voltage, thermocouple and RTD.

The EBD (LED Bargraph Display) is a 4-digit, automatic tricolor bargraph, edgewise digital panel meter. The bargraph display allows for quick, customizable process monitoring, with easy-to-read limit markings and great visibility in a popular 6" form factor. The LED digital display provides the precision required for critical operations. Input signal types range from 4-20mA current loops to RTD temperature-sensing to strain-gages—almost any type of sensor signal can be used! The meter can be powered externally with both AC and DC voltages and is configured with a user-friendly command set over any RS-232, RS-385, or USB network. It can function as a programmable controller, with 4 relays and a DAC for voltage or 4-20mA current loop transmission. Let the EBD be the digital gauge for your system today!

OTEK's HI-Q101 (1.39"W x 6.60"H x 3.27"D) is not only a form, fit and function replacement of the BE051 & BE101 but a 21st Century technology equivalent of our successful HI-Q Series. The look is similar but the performance is different. Panel cutout (1.06"W x 5.60"H).

You get many included features and options not available before, such as:

*Relays: 2 each with S.P.D.T. 1 amp contacts, or Open Collector Transistors (O.C.T.) for fast switching.

*Limits: 100% adjustable via 15 turn potentiometers on the rear of the unit.

*Display: 101 monolythic bright Red LED display with four (4) Red full digits and "-" sign with over/underange indication for either vertical or horizontal mounting.

The HI-QSLIM series is a part of Otek’s low cost smart indicators that are versatile and programmable. This series has a variety of display options including a bar graph display with a 51-segment LED array or a 101-segment LED array and a standard 2-digit LED display, available in horizontal or vertical configuration, and a simple 8-digit remote display with limited alpha charachters. Standard colors include red or green with other colors available upon request. As with many of Otek’s products, this meter series has the ability to display a number of variables and scales using 4-20 mA or VDC inputs, including watts, volts, amps, RPM, percent, or any other sensor output. The HI-QSLIM models feature a serial input allowing for use as a serial remote display, or a slave display, for plant intranet. The LPB-0 (0.950"W x 6.062"H x 1.775"D) is a ultra slim low cost loop powered edgewise LED bargraph display meter. Panel cutout (0.810"W x 5.410"H)

Another "World's First" joins OTEK's long list of Powerless™(Patented ) Loop Powered Instruments. POWERLESS™:  The LPB-0 has 50 segments bright high efciency segments for 2% resolution and can be set for "Pointer" (1, 3 or 5) as well as full bargraph operation. The unit's low 4.5V burden in the loop allows for multiple units strung along the factory or with only 2 wires and NO power supply to connect. POWERED:  The "Powered" version accepts 6-32 VDC & 90-265 VAC isolated power and 5 VDC nonisolated.  Here you can use any of our standard signal conditioners (see description and ordering information) or we will design it for your.  The LPB series is complemented by other Powerless series for A. The TRC (3.10"W x 6"H x 3"D) is the first instrument of its kind that offers isolated redundant control at an affordable price in a compact package. This unit is specifically designed and dedicated to triple redundant control of one (1) specific parameter.

DESCRIPTION: What is it?  A redundant controller is a common term used in military, space and nuclear industries to ensure Fail Safe operation of critical processes where human errors, wiring, sensor or equipment failure is possible, thus preventing loss of product, investment or environment. How is it done? In large and small applications, 3 expensive and sophisticated computers are used to monitor/control critical parameters.  The TRC is the first instrument of its kind that offers redundant control at an affordable price in a compact package dedicated to redundant control of one (1) specific parameter.
 
The TRC contains 3 identical isolated channels with their own A/D, DAC, uC, relays, Serial I/O and power supply. The core of the TRC is the algorithm performed by the CPU that continuously compares the serial output of each channel to the other 2.  Having all 3 channels monitoring the signals from 3 different sensors/transmitters at the process site using their own isolated power source and wiring eliminates single point failures.The CPU is con?gured via keypad (or serial) to set a “window” of acceptance (i.e. 5% band).  This means that any channel that falls outside of this window (as compared to the other 2) is disabled by the CPU and reported (alarms) to the supervisory personnel or equipment.  It’s important to note that the TRC’s function is to assure redundant control of the process by a democratic (majority) algorithm in addition to accurate data presentationThe majority rules!  The TRC eliminates 3 out of the 4 most important causes of catastrophes:  sensor, wiring and instrumentation.  The human error is up to the user.  
 
CPU FAILURE:  In the event the CPU was to fail (see block diagram), all 3 channels’ controllers would cease to receive COP data from the CPU.  After a delay, the TRC will:  1) Cease to transmit serial data; 2) Each channel (display, relays, DACS) will continue to operate normally, but independent of each other (lost its commander).3)  All numerical displays will continue to display their data, but their own bargraph will turn ALL orange.4)  Other visual indications on requests (use #9 on digit 8 and contact OTEK).
